Dr. Ravi Dhaliwal
Ravi Dhaliwal was born and raised in India where his love and compassion for animals was fostered at a young age. Encouraged by his grandparents to one day become a veterinarian, he followed that path by earning his DVM at Iowa State University. From there, he went on to complete a small animal medicine and surgery internship at All Care Animal Referral Center in Southern California and a residency and MS program in Small Animal Clinical Oncology at the University of Illinois.

Board-certified with the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in the specialty of Oncology and also with the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners in Canine and Feline Species, Dr. Dhaliwal co-founded Silicon Valley Veterinary Specialists with Dr. Michael P. Moore in 2013, where he continues to practice in addition to his work at Nor Cal.

Dr. Dhaliwal has authored or co-authored 20 refereed publications in peer reviewed scientific journals, 8 research abstracts, and several book chapters. He is also an active member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
